Preview
The Preview section offers an interactive interface to test your assistant before publishing it. The assistant in the preview playground is fully functional, trained on all the data you’ve added up to that point, and reflects your chosen brand colors, style, tone, and voice. This space allows you to evaluate how the assistant responds to queries and fine-tune its settings and behavior to ensure it aligns with your expectations prior to deployment.
Publish
The Publish section enables you to configure and deploy your assistant. This is the final step in making your assistant live and accessible to your users. All available configurations and customization options are outlined below for a seamless publishing experience.
- Publish On: Currently, the deployment option defaults to “Storefront/Website” as the only available method. By copying the provided code script and following the accompanying instructions, you can successfully embed your Asa assistant widget directly onto your storefront or website in a no-code manner in no time.
Note: We’re actively working to introduce publishing capabilities directly to popular messaging platforms such as Line, WhatsApp, Messenger, and more. This will allow your customers to interact with your AI assistant seamlessly on the platforms they use to communicate with you, enhancing accessibility and engagement.
If you’d like to request a deployment integration with any other platform, you can submit your request here.
- Options: You can customize the appearance theme, trigger UI, and its position before deployment by adjusting the following configuration options. These configurations ensure your assistant integrates seamlessly with your website or storefront’s design and user experience.
- Widget Trigger: This refers to the button that users will click to interact with or ask questions to your assistant on your storefront. It serves as the primary trigger for initiating conversations.
- Default: By default, your assistant is triggered by clicking the pre-configured button provided as part of the deployment setup.
- Bring your own button (Requires only basic HTML/CSS styling knowledge): You can opt to use your own button or clickable element to trigger the assistant. This allows you to style and position the button anywhere on your storefront, whether it’s an existing element (like a search bar icon) or a newly created one. Simply follow the instructions provided and apply the specified HTML id to your clickable element, adhering to the standard HTML id Attribute convention. This flexibility ensures the assistant integrates consistently with your storefront design.
- Theme: You can select either a Light theme or a Dark theme for your assistant’s interface, depending on which option best complements the color scheme of your storefront.
- Position: You can position your assistant on your storefront at bottom left, bottom center, or bottom right, depending on where it fits best with your design. This flexibility ensures consistency with your storefront’s layout while avoiding interference with other widget-based experiences you may be using.
Save & Publish: Once you’ve configured the settings, you can switch to the Preview mode within the publish settings dialog box to test your changes in real-time. Once you’re satisfied with the adjustments, click Save & Publish to make your changes live.
Note: Please ensure that you save your changes and copy/paste the updated code script onto your storefront for the changes to take effect. Certain configurations require an update to the provided embed script to function correctly.
